Tattooers For Japan. Compassion through Creativity.

In the wake of the devastating earthquake and tsunami on March 11 and subsequent nuclear plant explosions wreaking havoc on northern areas of the country, the International Rescue Committee is partnering with local Japanese organizations to address emergency needs for survivors. Your donations that will be directed towards their relief efforts on the ground.

We are raising funds for relief efforts in Japan

This group as been created in response to the recent natural disaster in Japan. The goal is to unite tattooers globally to show there compassion and gratitude to a country and culture that has influenced most of us artistically and personally. All of us owe a large debt of gratitude to Japan for its contribution to tattooing and the trade we are all so passionate about. The idea is for each tattooer/shop to schedule a walk in day in April/May with all proceeds going to relief efforts in Japan. Let the Japanese foundations of respect, compassion, and integrity inspire you to help International Rescue Committee channels money into Japan through their affiliate, Peace Winds Japan, an aid organization that helps with relief and rebuilding.
